Maximum service temperature 93 °C. Intermittent up to 110 °C.
Flanged systems: maximum 150 psi working pressure.
Threaded joints: 50 % of the pressure rating of the pipe. Only SCH 80 pipe up to 4" may be threaded.
Never use air or compressed gas to pressure-test the system.
Not recommended for most polar organic solvents such as chlorinated or aromatic hydrocarbons, esters or ketones. Check the chemical resistance chart before specifying.
Used in chemical plants, pulp and paper, effluent treatment, electroplating, water purification and food processing.
